Compersion was conceived as a dating platform for people exploring non-traditional relationship structures — polyamory, open relationships, relationship anarchy, and emergent relational models. I led early-stage brand identity development to create a visual and emotional language resonating across diverse identities and experiences.

  • Conducted market research analyzing visual trends, tone, and positioning across mainstream and alternative dating apps
  • Developed brand direction consciously moving away from sexualized or transactional aesthetics
  • Created initial logo, color palette, and mood-driven visual tone emphasizing psychological safety, emotional nuance, and relational authenticity
  • Positioned the brand as an invitation — not just to date, but to explore, express, and relate in expansive and consensual ways
